Q. What are the advantages of a dual curriculum?

A. Albert Einstein Academy’s dual curriculum fosters ethical and moral identity development in each individual child. By combining Jewish ideals and practices with the values of American citizenship and multi-cultural education, students learn how the secular and religious realms enrich each other and enhance our lives. Students learn organizational and time management skills, which are necessary to successfully manage a dual curriculum, and they gain solid study habits. Transfer students can receive Hebrew language tutoring and support and are graded based on effort.

Q. Do parents need to read or speak Hebrew?

A. It is not necessary for parents to either read or speak Hebrew in order for their children to be successful Albert Einstein Academy students. In our younger grades, students are sent home with study sheets that contain both Hebrew and English vocabulary. Many parents find they, too, are learning the language along with their children.
